Hello climbers and friends of climbers. Covid hit the soft goods side of the sport as bad if not worse than the gyms. Not being able to order fabrics and making it difficult for our staff to make bags caused us to nearly rethink our sanity and our mission. While it's still tough we have decided to meet the challenges and keep the faith. We're going to have our first bag sale ever and pass along the proceeds to our seamstresses, and the savings on to our loyal customers. While we don't have every style in stock we do have many of the most popular. Some Disney fabrics have been discontinued or back ordered until " who knows when"....which is now I believe a real calendar spot. At least we have T.P. and other essentials. We'll have a legitimate tag on the website as soon as possible.

Homegrown still has hundreds of bags to make your climbing or someone else's climbing a true statement. Let us know what you want.

It is easy to show support your favourite football team with with one of our license chalk bags. Keep it on your desk for pens and pencils or chalk it up for a day of climbing. Most teams are available for immediate delivery, and send us a picture what you use your chalk bag for and we will put you in for a drawing for another chalk bag when the season is over.

Fall has arrived with a teaser of weather and the potential to start making plans for winter. It's fall break time and a great time to get in and do some climbing. We've celebrated over 24 years as a great place to spend time staying or getting in shape and bonding with friends.
Remember that we will have our annual Nevada day pre-holloween event on Friday October 30. Adults and kids who come in costume or UNR attire receive free rental gear and raffle tickets..11-6. Of course there will be the candy buckets on the routes. We're super excited to see what kind of crazy costumes the staff will wear. Join us for the fun.

How time flies when you are making tons of chalk bags. Our custom made bags are really getting into some great shops and ultimately into the hands of some lucky climbers. Gym logos, comp prizes .we'll post some pics soon.

Hey amazing HomeGrown fans. It's good to be back writing about the cool things we are creating. Now that most of the tests are done, we're tweaking a few things that will keep homegrown on the cutting edge of style and creativity. I promise not to use those words again. Custom bags everywhere. Printing our own fabric and adding cool webbing to match. We're excited as heck. O.k. I'm excited as heck. You should be too. We'll post some pictures and do some contests soon.
