Huge news for youth golf in Northern Nevada! ⛳️🎉

We are incredibly honored to announce that First Tee Northern Nevada has been selected as one of only 32 chapters nationwide to receive a monumental grant from the PGA of America REACH Foundation, in partnership with the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and PGA TOUR Superstore!

This massive $7.6 million national investment will fund 6,000 PGA Jr. League scholarships over the next three years. For our local community, this means breaking down barriers and expanding access to the game we love.

Junior golf is growing faster than ever, and we are thrilled to put Northern Nevada youth at the forefront of this movement. By pairing First Tee’s life skills with the fun, team-style format of the PGA Jr. League, we're building confidence both on and off the course.

We’re thrilled to give a huge shoutout to Nikki Chindavong, one of our standout lead coaches, on being selected to receive the Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award from the College of Education & Human Development at the University of Nevada, Reno!

Nikki also wrapped up an incredible career this past year as an integral member of the Nevada Wolf Pack women’s golf team.

As a proud alumni of First Tee Greater Sacramento and Northern Nevada, Nikki has been part of the First Tee family for more than 13 years combined. She continues to inspire all of us and serves as an outstanding role model for our participants and community.
