Follow me for simple, sustainable fat loss strategies for women 40+

stopped chasing perfect. And that’s when everything changed.

For years I thought consistency meant perfection.
Never having a drink with my girlfriends. Killing every single workout no matter how exhausted I was. Feeling guilty if I indulged at a birthday party.

And you know what all of that got me?
Exhausted. Rigid. Miserable.
Because here is what I know now that I didn’t know then,
Perfectionism isn’t discipline. It’s just a really convincing form of self sabotage.

Real consistency doesn’t look like perfect. It looks like this:
→ Drinking a glass of wine with your girlfriends on Friday and showing up Saturday anyway
→ Missing a workout and not letting it turn into missing a week → Having the birthday cake and moving on without guilt
→ Choosing your treats, the ones that are truly worth it
Because a life that has no room for living is not a sustainable life. And a plan that falls apart the moment real life shows up was never really a plan at all.
Balance isn’t the enemy of results. It’s actually what makes results last.
The strongest, leanest, most confident version of you doesn’t live in perfection. She lives in consistency. The kind that bends without breaking. The kind that shows up even on the messy days. The kind that has a glass of wine and gets back to it tomorrow.

Because these beliefs were keeping me, and so many women I work with, completely stuck.

“My genetics are working against me.” Genetic differences are real. But the biology of building muscle and losing weight is science. Your DNA sets the context. It does not write the ending.

“I’ll never lose weight once perimenopause hits.” Your hormones change. They shift. They add context to everything. But they do not prevent you from losing weight or building the body you want. Full stop. 💪

“My body can’t handle carbs anymore.” Your body needs carbs. What it needs is the right carbs at the right time to balance your blood sugar and fuel your muscle. Fear of carbs is not a strategy.

“I’ll get bulky from lifting heavy weights.” Please hear me on this one. Heavy lifting builds the lean, strong, defined body you are actually looking for. It is not the enemy. It is the answer.

“You just have to settle after 40.” No. Absolutely not. You can lose every pound you want to lose. You can build visible muscle. You can feel stronger and more confident in your body at 44 than you did at 30.

But here’s the one thing that has to change, your strategy cannot be that of a 20 year old anymore.

You don’t have to settle. You just have to stop believing that you do.

Three years ago I thought exhausted, frustrated, and stuck was just going to be my life now.

I was wrong. But I had to learn some hard lessons first.
The thing nobody told me at 42 was that my body wasn’t broken. It just needed a completely different approach than everything I had tried before.

Less intensity. More strategy. Less restriction. More fuel. Less cardio. More muscle.

If you’re in your 40s and tired of starting over.. you’re in the right place. Follow along.

The one major thing that makes me and my clients most successful. Every Sunday for the last 15 years I sit down and map out my week.
Same routine. Every single week.
I plan every dinner for the week. I build my grocery list around exactly what I planned. I order my groceries. And then I close my laptop and I’m done.
The whole thing takes maybe 15-20 minutes.

And what it gives me in return? A week where I never once stand in my kitchen at 6pm exhausted and starving trying to figure out what’s for dinner. A week where I’m not making last minute decisions when my willpower is completely gone. A week where I just follow the plan I made when I was fresh and thinking clearly.
No stress. No fatigue. No guessing.

This is one of the first things I teach my clients. Because the woman who planned on Sunday will always out perform the woman who is deciding on Wednesday night.
