Thank You All for the birthday wishes! I felt less isolated and alone in my new home because so many of you reminded me how much you care! Reno is absolutely lovely but, I must confess, I question my timing… I arrived just as everything was shutting down for the pandemic. Luckily, the area offers lots of outdoor beauty and amazing hiking trails. Getting outside and basking in the sun and the breathtaking views have been good for my soul and remind me again and again that I am not the biggest thing in my world- In a great way. The Universe holds me and reminds me to breathe and to seek balance within and without. @ Reno, Nevada

This has got to be my all-time favorite juice! It’s got both sweet tart and savory aspects to it. What more could you ask for, LOL! Anyway a pretty simple one to make and it’s unique in that it’s a green juice that’s not veggies. Ingredients: organic green apples, organic lime, organic fresh basil, and small amounts of fresh ginger. Wash all well! Put in the juicer, zoom it, and you’re done!

Really! This is super easy to make and super delicious to consume. All you need : about 3/4 of a cup of raw almonds, three pitted dates (for sweetness), vanilla extract to taste, a little bit of Himalayan pink sea salt ( approx. 1/4 teaspoon), And optional: sunflower lecithin to make it creamy ( about a tablespoon).

Soak the almonds overnights in filtered water, drain, and then add everything into a blender with about 4 cups of filtered water. Blend on high for about a minute and a half or two minutes, and then drain into a nut milk bag. Squeeze the liquid out of the nut milk bag ( they can be bought on Amazon very cheaply), And ENJOY!!

It doesn’t take a lot of time to make an inexpensive healthy alternative to what can be bought.
