Beginner Aerial Yoga
Aerial yoga uses a silk hammock as a tool to help you achieve and deepen traditional yoga positions. The weight of the body is either partially or fully supported by the hammock. You’ll move through a variety of yoga postures including inversions, hip openers, hamstring stretches, and restorative postures. The class will focus on mobility, strength-building, and decompression of the spine. Expect to have fun and get a good stretch from head to toe!

Aerial Yoga L1
In our Intermediate Aerial Yoga class, we continue to use the silk hammock to move through a variety of yoga postures, that includes inversions, hip openers, hamstring stretches, and core strengtheners. Using foundations from the previous level, this class also teaches flow sequences that infuses a bit of dance, as you transition from one pose to another. We recommend having had 2-4 months of Aerial Yoga before trying this class.

This series is for those who have the foundations and want to take it to the next level by building up their repertoire and pole vocabulary. In L1, we focus on two-handed spins, transitions to and from the floor, work on climbing with proper technique, and introduce simple upright poses on the pole.

Most of all, we have fun and enjoy getting to know our apparatus better. Take your time in this level - there is so much to learn!

Graduates from this series may repeat or take other drop in Pole L1 classes. Discover even more to love about pole in Heels Fundamentals, Beginner Floorwork, Beginner Pole Choreo, and Intro to Flow.

This 6 week series meets once a week and is progressive in nature. Please be sure you can attend all dates noted.
