The Diaspora in Rhythm: Legacy in Soul – The New Jack Era is here!

This FREE 6-week community dance series celebrates the rhythm, pride, and creativity of the African American diaspora through movement. Youth (8–17) and adults (18+) will train in hip hop, majorette, contemporary, and jazz! all inspired by the iconic New Jack Era 🔥

At the end of the series, dancers will light up the stage in a community showcase — where culture, legacy, and artistry come alive.

Take a journey through a timeline of Hip Hop's historic roots by highlighting the legends that created it and those who still today represent the genre. The production will showcase the fresh and fashionable STYLEZ and creativity of Hip Hop through musical and dance performances along with a youth fashion show.
