The Goonies had so much fun this spring that we're continuing with a 7s team this summer!
We're recruiting new talent to strengthen our roster. If you know a high school boy that wants to get into amazing shape this summer and learn a new sport please SHARE!

Trainings start TOMORROW and will be at the Springfield Rugby Pitch every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 PM.

That's a wrap for season 1 from the Southern Missouri Goonies RFC!
Not the outcome we were looking for in our last match but we played with grit and heart. A match well played to Head Coach Michael Goad and the CBC High School Rugby Club Cadets. Thank you for making the trip fellas!

Our man of the match goes to Senior David Madderra for playing like a mad man. Wonderful job David 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Thank you to our 19 registered players this season for jumping into an unknown sport and letting us teach you this game we love. We applaud your tenacity on the pitch and at trainings. You made season 1 successful and fulfilling for all of us! We're so proud of you guys 🏴‍☠️

Thank you to the coaches! NONE of these young men knew how to play rugby. This team of coaches trained them up all season long to reach a much higher level of rugby. It's pretty amazing to see the difference from week 1 till now. Thank you coaches for all your sacrifice, patience, and wisdom. There would be no Goonies without you guys!

The Goonies played in front of a big home crowd at the Springfield Rugby Pitch on Saturday.
