Workouts kicked my butt today.
Did a few:
- which 20 mins a day, 5 days a week, 4 weeks program -
- walked the dogs ๐ถ (steps count ๐)
- 21 day body transformation challenge with , day 1, week 2 today. Oh and the boys have been doing this 21 day challenge with me too ๐๐ป
- BODi bootcamp , 30 mins of high intensity, sweat drenched workout but awesome ๐ช๐ป
- 5er (5 mins workout from BODi), lower body stretch
Also been doing intermittent fasting and starting to cut out sugars (from today). Iโve been doing IF for over a month now.
All those to get back to being fit, strong and healthy โฆ and my elbow works great โฆ. So happy. My right shoulder, the shoulder that had to take over when the left side was recovering, is the weaker side now, can you believe it? My left shoulder and arm is stronger now than my non broken side ๐
Power of physical therapy and recovery.

Update:
Out of my elbow brace as of yesterday. Elbow is healing well. Physical therapy is going well but doc said PT needs to be a bit more aggressive (which means way more painful). Thatโs whatโs needed in order for me to gain flexibility back.

week 2, day 1 done. Then I headed to the vaccination ๐ clinic and got my second dose of COVID-19 Pfizer vaccination. ๐ฆ
I wanted to make sure I got my workout done first in case I get side effects later on.

Who wants to join me in doing this? We need accountability partners as this challenge is hard. I hate burpees and for this reason, I want to do this challenge.

Got my workout ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ done this morning. Did upper body burn.
For whatever reason (main reason being poor planning on my part), Iโve ended up doing all the mbf workouts of the mbf/10 rounds hybrid. Iโll just start adding 10 rounds back in from tomorrow. Hopefully having missed a few days, Iโd be able to pick it back up.
For those of you who have done 10 rounds, is it doable if you missed a few days or shall I just restart my hybrid on Monday and do the 10 rounds in the order they are meant to be?

Show me your workout ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ space, wherever it is: your bedroom, basement, kitchen, garage, outdoor if you are lucky and have warm weather all the time!
Here is mine. I built it up during quarantine last year. I had a few dumbbells and managed to find other ones, oh so expensive. The mats are horse stall mats (sooooo heavy, about 100lbs each). I have a bunch of foam rollers, kettlebells (who else loves kettlebells? Do you have any favorite workout you follow that you can share for kettlebells?), and an indoor spin bike ๐ด. I didnโt invest in a very expensive bike as I wasnโt sure how much I was going to use it!!! Iโve definitely used it but not as much as I wished. The dumbbells, however, I use them daily!!

Yesterday I didnโt make it to workout ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ. I was too tired from working long hours 2-3 days in a row. So this morning I did yesterdayโs workout as well as todayโs workout.
Here I am, with Casper ๐ถ doing wk 1, day 3, upper body burn. Anytime I lay on the ground and take out the mat, Casper thinks itโs his time to either lay on the mat or chew it. ๐

Any progress is better than no progress.
Havenโt gotten my workout done yet today but I will this afternoon.
Always remember to put yourself first, make some time for yourself. We are so busy with life, kids, family, pets, work, etc... that sometimes we skip making personal time.
I block out an hour each day for working out; I have also come to love my walks with Casper ๐ถ much more as thatโs another form of exercise for both of us.
Whatโs your daily motivation? What does your โmeโ time look like?
