Tai Chi is a natural exercise, health, and self-defense system that arises from the natural world. The slow, graceful dancelike movements of Tai Chi help players (students) become more flexible, strong and relaxed. Creekside Adventures

Join Franklin Soil & Water Conservation District and Parks and Recreation for a creek adventure. Participants investigate what lives below the surface of a local stream and participate in scientific sampling techniques to determine the health of the stream based on the macroinvertebrates collected. Please be prepared to wade into the water (up to our knees) to collect specimens. We recommend sturdy shoes that can get wet (old sneakers, rubber boots, crocs or other closed-toed water shoes). Pottery Wheel 101
Dates: Mondays, July 20 and July 27 (both days needed to complete class)
Time: 4:30pm – 6:30pm
Ages: 7 and up (grades 3-12)
Location: Reynoldsburg Senior Center - 1520 Davidson Drive

Join this 2-day program that includes the introduction to the basic use of the pottery wheel as well as basic hand-building techniques. This is a great opportunity for students to receive hands on experience. Students will each complete a small pot on the pottery wheel and at least one other item using hand-building techniques. All artwork will be glazed by the student and fired. All supplies are included.
