Congratulations Preston!!!
The 1st annual AJ Glover Memorial Swim Invitational took place at the end of December in Worthington. We are proud to have awarded (2) $500 character based scholarships! The swimmers on each team nominated a senior that exhibited some of the same characteristics as AJ.
Our first scholarship was given to Preston Cole of Reynoldsburg. Prestonβs team said this:
ββ¦Preston is a bright light to those around him. He always has a smile on his face and is a great leader on our team. He steps up when others are hesitant. He worked hard on the off season and came back with more muscle and ready to work hard! Our swimmers love his presence and he helps to make them better people and swimmers.β
Congratulations Preston! Thank you for being a leader to others. You are making a difference. π

Check out our Captain!
Meet the Mentors! A few of our senior football players are mentors to students at Taylor Road Elementary and we want you to get to know them on !
First up, Zion is a senior at Encore Academy and a running back for the varsity football team. Zion became a mentor because he wanted to be a role model and help guide a younger student on the path to success. He wishes that someone had told him to always stay positive and keep trying when he was younger instead of shutting down when things get difficult.
Zion is mentoring two boys who are best friends, Xavier and Keegan. They are a perfect match because they love sports as much as he does. π He meets with them every Wednesday and helps with homework or just hangs out with them, playing outside or talking about life! We are of all are mentors and their willingness to help mold and guide the younger students!
