This is fantastic news for the city of Richardson. Omar is a regular volunteer at 4DWN so he knows the positive influence skateboarding and skateparks have on communities. Here's to hoping we can finally get some momentum to bring a skatepark to Richardson.

This is a great video that shows a couple success stories and some of the advocates that moved their projects forward. It shows that not only skaters can be advocates, but anyone in the community can work toward the goal of a beautiful public skatepark.

We are in the beginning stages of starting this advocacy group. We are still assembling our core group. We need a graphic designer, someone that knows how to do social media effectively, skaters, neighbors, teachers, parents, students, and anyone else that would love to be a part of bringing a skatepark to Richardson, TX.
