The Championships are Sunday! All teams in the Finals should have received their updated schedules; we moved the games later so everyone could enjoy the World Cup. Get inspired by Argentina vs. France, then come out and step up your game.

Registration is open for the Spring 2023 Season; send your Team Information Sheet to us and get a head start. The games begin February 19th, and the deadline for registration is January 22nd. We want to be able to get schedules out early, so don't procrastinate - get started now.

All games scheduled at Breckinridge and Premier Park will be played.

We will work to make up for the lost games as soon as possible

Carrollton R. E. Good fields are open for play. The Colony/Five Star will be played as scheduled. Games at Breckinridge and at Premier Park are cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date.

If you are playing at R. E. Good or Five Star, please keep in mind:

- If you can see the fields would be damaged, do not play the game!
- If the game officials determine the game should not be played, do not argue - do not play the game!
- If anyone from the City decides we should not play the game - do not play the game!
- If the game is cancelled for any of these reasons, do not use the field for a practice or a scrimmage! Do not jeopardize your opportunities to play at these fields in the future.

We trust all of you to do the right thing - and keep giving us the opportunity to play the game we all love.

All games should be played at The Colony tomorrow. Carrollton will survey the fields at 9:00 am and we will notify you then. We will not make the final decision to cancel games until we know for sure we cannot play. Games at Breckinridge and Premier Park - hit hardest by the rain - are cancelled.

We appreciate your patience; we always have to wait until the cities verify whether or not their fields are playable - obviously, neither they nor we want to damage them - and with the soaking everyone got this week, some are not sure whether or not they will dry out. Like you, we want to play - so we will let you know as soon as we can!

The Fall Season isn't supposed to suffer from rain - but today, it did! Games at R. E. Good, Five Star (The Colony), and Breckinridge are cancelled. Games at Premier Park will be played today. The heavy rains across the north early this morning have soaked the pitch on those city's fields, and there is no way they could dry in time to play. Premier Park is still playable, fortunately.

The cancelled games will be made-up (mostly on November 6th). Stay dry and stay safe; we will see you next week!

Congratulations to Luke Kleinpeter!

Luke Kleinpeter, goalkeeper for Ice FC/Black Ice in NTPSA's First Division, spent two weeks in early July on a soccer tour in central Europe with a group of his fellow teammates. After enjoying friendlies with teams in Hungary, Austria, and Slovakia, they returned home - but Luke had a message when he got back.

FK Lokomotiva Devinska Nova Ves, a Bratislava-area team in the 3rd Division, left the message - they want him back. He will be picked-up and will be playing in Europe starting this month.

Congratulations to Luke! And thank you for being a part of NTPSA... we love to see success stories, and you are a real asset to your team and your league.

The playoffs are over - we are ready to play the Championships on May 15th! Thanks to the co-operative weather this Spring, we won't have to play on Mother's Day, May 8th. The league provides game sheets, referee payments, nets and flags for all Championship games.

Start planning now for our Summer Season! We will begin on June 27th(no games on Father's Day), playing 8 regular-season games (30-minute halves) with no playoffs. Registration fees are only $55 per player; referee fees will be $60.00 per team/per game. We will be sending entry information to all Captains; talk to your team now and get ready to play!

Our Open House for Players looking for Teams will be on Sunday, May 22nd, at Premier Park. Players wanting to play on Over-30, Over-40, Over-50, and Over-55 teams should be ready to scrimmage at 12:00 noon; Players wanting to play in Open Divisions (must be 18 or older) will play at 1:30 pm. This is a great opportunity for prospective players to show their skills and potential, and a great chance for Captains to find new players that will benefit their team. Come on out and have a look!

Another great Sunday is coming!

We have added an ID photo session on Saturday, March 12th, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, for any players who have not yet gotten their ID photos made. Please remember: all players must have NTPSA Spring 2022 ID cards in order to play. All teams must use the official. printed NTPSA Game Sheets. Game sheets must be sent to [email protected] after every game. Each team is also responsible for taking one net and two corner flags to every game.

REMEMBER: No alcohol is allowed at any of the city fields (Carrollton, Richardson, or The Colony). Teams caught with alcohol will forfeit their rights to play at those fields.

All N.T.P.S.A. games tomorrow are cancelled due to rain and wet fields. These games will be made-up on Sunday, April 24th.

The next ID card session will be Saturday - February 12th, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. This is for ID cards only - no other business!

We will also be open on Saturday, February 12th, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, for Captains who need further assistance with registration, payments, or other issues.

We are getting ready for Spring! If you have players needing new ID's, be sure they know the ID Card session schedule:

Saturday - February 12th, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Wednesday - February 16th, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Thursday - February 17th, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturday - February 19th, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Encourage them to come early - the earlier they get their photos made, the more likely they won't have to wait so long in line.
