🇺🇸 Conner Robbins is medalist at Meadow Springs U.S. Open Local Qualifier.

🏁Final: U.S. Open Local Qualifying at Meadow Springs CC in Richland, Washington. 18-hole qualifier staged by WA Golf was Washington’s second local qualifier following April’s at The Home Course.

5 players advanced from Meadow Springs CC to the Final Qualifying stage. Many of the players advancing from Locals will play the final stage at Emerald Valley GC in Creswell, Oregon on June 8th as part of “Golf’s Longest Day.”

Medalist: Conner Robbins - 67
A 2002 Washington Huskies grad, Robbins is a fixture this decade on the PNW PGA circuit picking up major wins at the Rosauers Open and Washington Open.

Also advancing was Jacob Kang, the winner of the inaugural NW Golf Report Spring Classic in 2023.

🇺🇸 Banks & Fuenmayor shoot 64 for medalist honors at U.S. Open Local Qualifying.

🏁Final: U.S. Open Local Qualifying at Creekside GC in Salem, Oregon. 18-hole qualifier staged by the Oregon Golf Association was Oregon’s only local qualifier for the 2026 U.S. Open.

Oregon hosts Final Qualifying this year! Many of the players advancing from Locals will play the Finals at Emerald Valley GC in Creswell, Oregon on June 8th as part of “Golf’s Longest Day.”

🇺🇸 Bebich, Putnam, & Snyder earn medalist honors at U.S. Open Local Qualifying.

🏁 Final: U.S. Open Local Qualifying at The Home Course in DuPont, Washington. 18-hole qualifier staged by WA Golf was Western Washington’s only qualifier for the U.S. Open.

🏆 Hurt, Fisher, Berg qualify for PGA Championship.

🏁Final: PGA Professional Championship from Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Oregon. 72-hole national championship staged by PGA of America featured 312 PGA professionals competing at Bandon Dunes and Pacific Dunes. The top 20 finishers advanced to the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronomink.

🥇 Surrey, B.C. amateur Lauren Kim qualifies for her 3rd U.S. Women’s Open.

🏁Final: U.S. Women’s Open Qualifying from Rainier G&CC in Seattle, Washington. 1-day, 36-hole qualifier staged by WA Golf featured a field of 66 players competing for 2 spots to the U.S. Women’s Open Championship at The Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles, CA on June 4th-7th, 2026.

Lauren Kim .hb.kim , the 3-time reigning PNGA Women’s Player of the Year and University of Texas junior , qualified for her 3rd U.S. Women’s Open. Kim from Surrey, B.C. previously played in the 2022 & 2023 U.S. Women’s Opens at Pine Needles & Pebble Beach.

The biggest highlight of the day for Kim was holing a hybrid from 178 yards out for an eagle on the par-4 4th hole of the afternoon round. Kim, the No. 15 ranked player in the world amateur golf rankings, posted rounds of 70 and 68 for a 138, -6 total to earn medalist honors.

🏁Final: 4th Annual NW Golf Report Spring Classic from Druids Glen GC in Covington, Washington. 18-hole championship featured Men & Women - Pros, Amateurs, Seniors, & Juniors - competing in Gross & Net in NW Golf Report’s annual tournament held on the 1st Saturday of April.

☀️Sunny skies greeted the full field of 60 players. Mark your calendars for Spring 2027 as NW Golf Report aims to play this tournament again next year.

🌲🟧 Max Herendeen Captures Duck Invitational

🏁Final: 36th Annual Duck Invitational hosted by Oregon Ducks Men’s Golf at Eugene CC in Eugene, Oregon. 54-hole collegiate event featured 15 teams at one of the PNW’s top courses.

Max Herendeen of Bellevue, Washington, a junior for the University of Illinois, was the only competitor to finish under par in all three rounds, firing scores of 67 (-4) and 69 (-2) on Monday before his closing 66 (-5) in Tuesday’s finale.
Herendeen, a two-time All-American, won his 4th collegiate title. Herendeen, one of the PNW’s top players, finished tied for second, one shot off the national championship pace, in stroke play at the NCAA Championship as a freshman.

The Duck Invitational has produced a strong list of past champions that include winners on the PGA TOUR and prolific PNW players.

🏀 Elliot Ro & Amanda Peng win WJGA State Match Play

🌸⛳️ NW Golf Report invites all WJGA players to enter the 4th Annual NW Golf Report Spring Classic on Saturday, April 4th at Druids Glen GC in Covington, Washington. -Boys play at 6,500 yards. - - Girls play at 5,500 yards. - Pros, Amateurs, & Juniors will all play the same tees and compete for Division titles plus the Overall Championship. The amateur division with Gross & Net means a parent can play and win too! Full details and online entry at nwgolfreport.com.

🏁Final: Washington Junior Golf Association State Match Play from Eagle’s Pride GC (formerly Fort Lewis GC, in JBLM, Washington. Annual ‘March Madness’ tournament on WJGA calendar featured 18 holes of stroke play qualifying on Friday with the top 16 scorers advancing to match play. Championship brackets then played 4 rounds of match play in 2 days to crown champions. Over 100 junior golfers competed for the titles.

Elliot Ro of Sammamish, Washington, a 2026 high school graduate who will play collegiately at Cal Baptist University, won the Boys division. Ro, the 2025 WJGA State Junior Amateur champion, won the championship match over top seed Theodore Snyder on the 18th hole with a 1 up victory.

The girls division was won by Amanda Peng, 2028 high school class, of Bellevue, Washington. Peng, a qualifier for the 2025 PGA Junior Championship and past member of the Girls’ Junior Americas Cup Team, was clutch throughout winning matches 1 up, 2&1, 1 up, and 1 up.
