After a few evenings of low numbers, Kalei O Ke Kai, our OC-4, was rigged and used in the Columbia! While the air grew heavy with smoke we paddled 2.6 miles to check it out.
Many thanks to Sue, Thu Ha, Warren and John!

Rainy skies, fast water, possibility of lightning, and one strong crew!
Team Hokuloa left it on the wai at Rooster Rock 2026, taking 2nd place in their division with a time of 1:27!
They spent the race chasing down two Unlimited Men’s crews and crossed the finish line just 3 seconds behind them! Now that’s a finish!
Great job to all our paddlers for digging deep and paddling as one. And a big mahalo to Tom for jumping into Seat 2 with the TCOCC kāne! 🤙🏽❤️🖤
One heart. One mind. One goal.
Mahalo Mountain Home Canoe Club for hosting another epic race!

Rooster Rock Race Bound!
This Saturday, our TCOCC kāne are heading to Corbett, Oregon to take on the Rooster Rock Race!
We’re excited to see our men represent the Tri-Cities Outrigger Canoe Club as they race alongside paddlers from across the Pacific Northwest.
Race day is about more than crossing the finish line—it's about teamwork, perseverance, and finding that glide as six paddlers move as one.
Join us in wishing our kāne safe travels, strong paddling, and favorable conditions on the water. May they paddle with strength, unity, and aloha as they represent our club and community.
Go fast, paddle hard, and enjoy every mile!

Time to get our paddle on!
There’s nothing quite like being out on the water with good friends, steady strokes, and a shared goal. Every practice is an opportunity to find the glide, sharpen our skills, and paddle as one.
Mahalo to everyone who shows up, puts in the work, and helps make our club such a special community. From first-time paddlers to seasoned veterans, every seat in the canoe matters.
One Heart. One Mind. One Goal. 🤙

🌧️ Dark skies and rain? Just part of the adventure.
TCOCC hit the water, chasing the glide, sharing laughs, and enjoying every stroke. The weather may have been gray, but the stoke was strong!
Rain or shine, we paddle. Together we grow stronger, move as one, and make memories along the way.
E hele kākou! 🤙Let's go!

Another beautiful morning on the wai with the TCOCC 'ohana! ☀️
We're fortunate to be able to paddle both the Yakima and Columbia Rivers (during the same practice!)—two incredible waterways right in our backyard. Every practice is a reminder of how fortunate we are to train, chase the glide, and paddle as one in Southeast Washington .
See you on the water!

Rooster Rock is approaching fast!
Who’s ready to hit the water, race hard, and make great memories with the paddling 'ohana?

In Observance of Memorial Day 🇺🇸
Practice will begin at 9:00 AM on Monday, May 25th, as we come together for our annual paddle to the Regional Veterans Memorial at Columbia River Park.
Join us as we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country and freedoms. Together, we’ll paddle in remembrance, gratitude, and respect for those who gave so much for all of us.
