This is the page for the Tri-Cities Outrigger canoe club. We paddle three days a week and Our season starts in early April and ends in October.

We are based in Tri-Cities, Washington and train three days per week on the Columbia River. We belong to PNW-ORCA and participate in the summer race series. TCOCC typically attends 6-7 short and long distance races each season. The club currently owns 4 OC-6 canoes and many of our members own OC-1 canoes.

Another beautiful morning on the wai with the TCOCC 'ohana! ☀️

We're fortunate to be able to paddle both the Yakima and Columbia Rivers (during the same practice!)—two incredible waterways right in our backyard. Every practice is a reminder of how fortunate we are to train, chase the glide, and paddle as one in Southeast Washington .

See you on the water!

In Observance of Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Practice will begin at 9:00 AM on Monday, May 25th, as we come together for our annual paddle to the Regional Veterans Memorial at Columbia River Park.

Join us as we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country and freedoms. Together, we’ll paddle in remembrance, gratitude, and respect for those who gave so much for all of us.

We had 6 for a smooth paddle this morning seeking new channels up the Yakima delta. Covered 5¼ miles in super conditions. The rest of you need to come out and play!

We made this paddle while remembering one of our elders, Larry Thomas. May your rides be smooth and your kayak swift. Read more about him and consider attending a May 29th celebration of life. https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/tricityherald/name/larry-thomas-obituary?id=61307771

A hui hou.

TCOCC is back on the wai! Nothing like a classic windy Tri-Cities Spring day! Word of the day was Makani cause she was blowing up river and down creating some righteous nā wai'ale'ale!
Whee-Ha! Geev' um!
