Columbia Basin BMX Track

We are going to make the call to cancel racing tonight. With AQI being currently over 213 and not going down fast enough - we will still be well over 150 by race time.

Tentatively we will plan to race Thursday instead of Gate Practice…however the forecast for AQI does not look promising. Please stay tuned, as we will handle required event cancelations on a daily basis.

The moto gods have smiled on our BMX home!! Despite the devastation around it, the track and all buildings survived the fire!! All operations and events at the Dwight Merkl Sports Complex are suspended until further notice. Please stay away until further notification. Let's let the pros do their jobs. The damage at Dwight Merkl is significant. The track is locked. As soon as its safe to return we will absolutely let you know.

Gigantic Spokane BMX thank you to all the first responders! They are true professionals and have our deepest appreciation and respect. Thank you, BMX family, for all the offers of help during this crisis.

If any member of our BMX family is in need because of these fires please reach out and we will do everything we can to assist or coordinate assistance. We are so fortunate to have such a strong community at Spokane BMX...now is the time to put it in action.

Well, that’s a wrap on the 2026 Eastern Washington Race for Life Series! This is always a fun AND long busy weekend. 4 RFL Double Point races at 4 different tracks over 3 days - all to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Walla Walla BMX, Columbia Basin BMX, Spokane BMX and Moses Lake BMX

With all 4 tracks coming together, we raised $12,805!! This year SPOKANE BMX came out of top and took home the Track Trophy, raising $4,105 (we look forward to taking it back next year 😉)!

RICHLAND BIKE LEAGUE FOR KIDS! - Columbia Basin BMX League is hosting a Free "Give it a Try" Open House event on Saturday, August 8; ahead of the Friday, August 21 beginners-only League season.

The BMX track is a great family atmosphere, where parents and siblings can cheer-on their rider as part of the "pit crew," or jump on a bike and join the fun (parents of enrolled riders join their own age-appropriate class for $40 off the Youth tuition).

Tuition includes five sessions of instruction and racing, a league jersey, personalized number plate, loaner bike and/or helmet (if needed), season-end award and pizza party.

The Fall 2026 season starts Friday August 21, at Columbia Basin BMX in Richland.

The League is a five-session experience of instruction and racing that opens up endless possibilities of fun, new friends, and family time at the BMX track.

Another great night of racing brought us the opportunity to celebrate 3 MOVE-UPS!!

Lucas Cruz - has been on a tear lately and got his 10th win tonight!

Ezekiel Garcia - has been on the hunt for his 10th win for a while…he got it done at Cherry Hill BMX SCR this last weekend!

Ryker Frasco - has been coming and competing hard. He was able to get his 10th win last week and we got to celebrate him today!

Congratulations boys! Keeping racing hard and having fun on your bikes!

Another successful BMX Racing League finished with our racers joining us last night for open racing! We loved seeing the improvement of these racers and can’t wait to see them continue on their BMX journey!
