Meet Darren! Always wearing a smile and climbing hard, he’s a fixture at the gym 😊

• How long have you been climbing, and how did you get into it?

I’ve been climbing for about 3.5 years, my son Dmitri invited me to use his guest pass and I’ve been having a blast ever since!

• What’s something most people wouldn’t know about you?

For a hobby, I like to refurbish Jura fully automatic coffee/espresso machines.

• What was the last book you read?

The last book I read was Rhythm of War by Brandon Sanderson.

• What do you do for work?

I’m a job superintendent for Aho Construction.

• Favorite food?

My favorite food is mashed potatoes and hamburger gravy.
