π Local vs National AAU β What Parents Should Know
Not all pathways are the same. Hereβs what matters:
Local/Regional: More tournaments β frequent game reps, consistent fundamentals, steady development.
National Circuit: Fewer tournaments β higher-level competition & game reps, structured high level practices for accelerated development, and exposure to college coaches.
Both paths develop players; the right choice depends on goals, travel, and budget.
π‘ Understanding the differences helps families make informed decisions.
