The legendary Pat E.Johnson who is known for being the All-Valley Tournament referee in the 1984 Karate Kid film, stunt coordinated and trained actors for “The Karate Kid” films, 9th degree black belt in Tang Soo Doo, responsible for the fighting styles of Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do, has sadly passed away of natural causes at his Los Angeles home. He was 84. RIP ❤️

Honoring the life of my instructor, Master Pat Johnson, a fantastic person and one of the true great martial arts instructors. Martial arts, the movie industry, and everyone who knew him were all the better because of the privilege of his positive influence.
I reference him and give him credit often while I'm teaching, and today I am looking back on all of the good times and great memories with him.
He had a fantastic life and he will truly be missed.
