In the midst of Pandemic, a unique development has evolved around the Tibetan sports arena through the Tibetan National Sports Association (TNSA). Tibetan National Basketball Association (TNBA) has become a member of the United Nation of Basketball, (https://unbasketball.org/) as such we have formed the first Tibetan National Basketball team to play against other members of UNB. (This is not an affiliate of the UN). However, we see this as a great opportunity where we already have a strong interest in basketball among the Tibetans in North America with various talents. We want to take a moment to thank the first Tibetan National Basketball Championship organizing committee and those who support us all through the tournament. We have braved through the freezing cold and surging pandemic, to come out with the historic event to create the first Tibetan National Basketball team. The discussion about the tournament to play against other UNB members is underway, and let’s hope to see our team in the limelight of international basketball.
