As communities across Wayne County recover from severe flooding, the Wayne County Foundation, in coordinated efforts with local communities and county stakeholders, is helping direct financial support to those impacted.

Donations to the Wayne County Cares Fund will be distributed directly to communities affected by the flooding. Donations are being accepted online, in person at the Foundation office or by mail.

The YMCA Main Campus will open Noon to 8 pm.
-No evening fitness classes
-No evening Ywatch
-Golf Marathon has been rescheduled to August 21st.

To honor the Level 3 Travel Advisory,
-the YMCA Main Campus will open at Noon.
-Richmond Stidham Daycare will open at Noon

Staff Announcement:

We are pleased to share JaNya Stovall has been promoted to Director of School Age Child Care.

JaNya has worked with the Richmond Family YMCA for 4 years and served as a Para with Richmond Community Schools.

We are thankful for JaNya's heart and passion for kids. She will be a great addition to the leadership team.

We also want to thank Ryan George for serving close to 5 years with the YMCA. We wish him blessings in his new endeavors. Under Ryan's leadership we expanded services to Northeastern and Centerville. Thank you Ryan for your dedication to the Y and our families.
