Have you said this?? I’ve heard some of my clients with kiddos say this. Summer time can be spent tolerating busy schedules, needing a vacation after a vacation 😅, or waiting for cooler weather. As a parent to three kids I can relate to the idea of school feeling like babysitting tool and believing my time will be more productive, but really I’m lying to myself and my kids 😰

I’m telling myself they are to blame for my lack of efficiency. I’m not owning my contribution to the stress I’m feeling. Can you relate??🙋🏽‍♂️

If something else was possible, would you want to know? 🤔 Consider these questions:
- How would you like to describe the remaining weeks of summer?
- What words would you want to describe the upcoming school year?
- What does growth look like for you as a parent or for your kids?
- Is the busyness schedule a cop out to do the work you’ve been delaying?

Zero judgment, come to the table AS YOU ARE. Summer isn’t over and a full new school year can bring new opportunities beyond your imagination if you are clear on who are you committed to show up.

What is one thing you want to see before summer wraps up? What is something special that happened this summer you’ll remember forever? Leave a comment below or if you’re feeling stuck, reach out!

If you want to grow…

Find a stupidly hard problem, be willing to think of multiple solutions, see what sticks, and implement. You’ll be surprised with what you come up with.

What comes to mind when you read that?

Hey 👋🏻 I’ve noticed a lot of new faces around here so I thought I’d take a minute and say welcome! I’m Joe Malizia and I’m married to the most organized, multitasking gorgeous, woman I know (love you Em!). We have three amazingly sweet and adventurous children (4, 2 and 7 months old!).

I spend the best hours of my days in conversations with couples, individuals and business owners fighting for the REAL relationships and results they long for. I believe life is all about relationships. Which is why I love serving people like you through coaching!

But before we get into deep conversations, I wanted to say hello and share some things I enjoy (& maybe you do too?):

- I love PSU 🏈
- I love flat-bill 🧢
- I prefer sitting at the kids table
- I ran🏃‍♂️ my first 5K at 31 and fell in love with running
- I thrive going into a room full of strangers and starting conversations

Thanks for following along on here! Say hello in the comments ⬇️⬇️⬇️ and tell me one random thing you enjoy!

What do you think about this?

Do have be vs Be do have

We often respond to situations from the mentality of “if I DO ____, then I’ll HAVE ____, then I’ll BE ____.”

For example, “if I READ this book, then I’ll HAVE the information, to BE a good parent, connect with my spouse, launch my business etc.”.

I’d like to invite you to switching that process around to BE, DO, HAVE.
Then that example can shifts to “I will BE an authentic parent, who READS this book and HAS an authentic and meaningful relationship.”

When we make it less about what we need to do and more about who we ultimately want to be, we more often see the results and outcomes we are longing for.

Want to give this a try? Complete the statement below in the comments ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

“I am _______.”

From our family to yours, welcome to 2021! The past couple weeks have been very busy in our house as we’ve welcome to beautiful baby girl, Hayden Jo on Dec. 8th, celebrated Micah’s 4th birthday on Christmas (yep, he’s a Christmas baby), lived with family as our house gets worked on and walking though COVID diagnoses. Life isn’t easy, but serving you all is such a gift. Thank you for the opportunity to serve your families, businesses and communities in 2020. Praying for a stronger, healthier and joy filled New Year.
Love, The Malizia’s.
