BTAC Nurture and Serve over 294 Children ages 5 to 17 in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Many of these children live in what we would call sub-standard housing with no running water, no sanitation and no access to basic resources.
However, their spirits are rich and the confidence and hope Bridge-To-Africa Connection have given these children is life changing!

During the last few days, I met many of the children who just completed their exams at the Junior High School level and are awaiting the results to go to Senior High School.
Senior High School is a major milestone and I have met a few students who won’t have the funds to purchase provisions and the items needed for school.
Our host is responsible to help 16 children go to school in April and the cost of 3,000 Cedis ($500) per child to purchase things like Student mattress; trunk, chop box and many needed provisions is too much.

So I am calling on a few of my family and special friends to help me sponsor two children who don’t have sponsors and to contribute to help a few others.
These students are economically poor and their only hope for a better life is to get an education.
Please look around and find any excess change and contribute whatever you have to help support the extra funds needed to send these 16 BTAC students to Senior High School.
No amount is too small so help me to raise the funds.
Being on the ground with our host Dawn Sutherland and seeing the work being done to get these children ready for life is unbelievably.
I would like to do a small part to help some of the beautiful children I met because they deserve a better life!
