First Team All-Metro
Royce Wetlzer (113 lbs) 2026 All-Metro Wrestler of the Year! This silent assassin doesn’t need a pep talk. He needs silence, a quick thumbs up, and 20 minutes to lock in. Once that whistle blows? It’s pure offensive dominance. Back-to-back state titles. Two-time National All-American 🏆
Nate Foldes (144 lbs) The third Foldes brother to represent Benedictine, Nate dominated his way to a VISAA state title this season. Finishing with a 20-4 record, he punctuated his junior year by rolling through the state tournament with a pin, a tech fall, and a major decision before securing the championship with a 10-4 victory.
Elliott Crews (150 lbs) A key force in the Cadets’ state championship run, Crews posted an impressive 31-9 record and advanced to the round of 12 at National Preps. He showcased his clinical efficiency at the state meet, pinning his first three opponents in a combined 3 minutes and 9 seconds before winning the title with a gritty 9-5 decision.
Jameson Burns (165 lbs) A two-time state champion and National Preps round of 12 finisher, Burns went 10-3 this season. He lived up to his “All-Metro first-teamer” status at the VISAA meet by pinning his first three opponents in lightning-fast times—27 seconds, 25 seconds, and 1:58—before finishing as the state runner-up.
