Shoutout to our barber Dot, who we did a knife for earlier this summer. She liked it so much she got it tattooed on her face. Dot has been keeping us looking fresh for the past dozen or so years and is a dear friend to the shop- much love .

The Drunkenwood Spartan XL: you can come see us and grab this guy at the Science after Dark event on Fri Sept 26th from 5p-10p. We’ll have a bunch of other killer blades and we’ll be happy to talk your ear off about how we make them (we don’t get out much).

This guy is made from 80CrV2 steel, bourbon barrel oak, homebrewed Levi’s denim micarta, computer board spacers, and stainless hardware.

The Mood Ring, a wedding knife. The couple sent us some material from the wedding dress they were making, and the shirt the groom proposed in. We made a micarta out of it and depending on the light you can catch the glimmer of the chiffon. With Ebony wood, computer board spacers, stainless hardware and brass bolster

We now have a substack. Writing and exploration have always been a part of our process and it’s gotten a more difficult to get blogs out with the frequency from days of yore.

Here we’ll be posting smaller writings, things were working on and more. The majority of this will be behind a paywall (cheap) but you should still sign up.
