Sad news to lose one of our founding members Dawn Sposa.
This is the hardest thing our family has ever had to do.
Our beautiful mom entered the beautiful Kingdom of Heaven on December 12 at 3:51 am. She was the most strong-willed, fiery, and selfless woman the world has ever known. She lived big and she loved even bigger. Her family meant everything to her and she loved us more than anything in the world. She loved her pets and gave many animals a loving and caring home over the years. She would have done anything for anyone or any animal that needed it. She touched so many people’s lives and was loved by so many. She never knew a stranger. She would go up and talk to anyone about anything. She was the world’s best caretaker. Her spirit was just way too big for this world. She knew and loved God and looked forward to the day she would be able to experience the joy of heaven and meet her beloved family members and friends again. She is now making her beautiful home in the Kingdom of the Lord.
We will cherish all of our wonderful memories with you. We will carry you in our hearts forever and share your zest for life with the world.
We love you more than you could ever know.
Forever and always,
❤️ Your Beloved Family ❤️

TVRA Update- General membership meeting, Clubhouse cleanup, future plans
Hello to our outstanding TVRA members!
We have some quick and actionable updates for everyone that we are so excited to share. We are moving toward our future, and as we look ahead, we are hopeful because we have all of you. Things are progressing to refresh and reopen the pool.
We won’t keep boring you; here are some updates:
• On Wednesday, August 24, at 6:30 PM, we will hold another meeting in the large meeting room at the Tuckahoe Library ( off Parham Road). We will be sending more details about the meeting soon!
• On Saturday, August 27, from 1:00-5:00 PM, clear your schedule! We are having a community work day! Together we will move out chairs and lounge chairs, debris to the parking lot. You can stop by any time; we are grateful for your help! Please bring gloves, shovels, wheelbarrows and any other tool you feel comfortable using.
• On Sunday, August 28, from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, we will have our second community work day. We will freshen up the pool area as much as possible in preparation for roof demolition! Additionally, we will do some yard maintenance and preservation of memorabilia (trophy room, etc.)! as well as finish up any other work not done on Saturday.
In the face of disaster, TVRA has always found a way to move forward, which is what we hold on to today. The pool has filled generations of families with love, memories, and a community that deeply cares about one another. Our story as a pool has not ended when we have the chance to save it.
We look forward to saving TVRA with you! Have a wonderful evening, be safe, and keep the hope alive!

TVRA TOGETHER: Updates On Our Situation and Where We Go From Here:
TVRA held a meeting to discuss the future of the pool at the tuckahoe library on 5/16/22. The vote to dissolve the association thankfully was unsuccessful. New leadership are hopeful about the future of TVRA because we plan to move forward in a new direction.
We may not be able to swim in our pool this summer and enjoy the water, but we have a big goal for the summer! We will use the time this summer to clean up the fire damage and reach out for donations, grants, and other funding so we can rebuild and reopen the pool for the 2023 season.
We can’t change what happened, but as an association, we have an opportunity to control the future of our association, and we need you!
Where We Go From Here:
We want to be better at communicating with you because we couldn’t be TVRA without the fantastic people that support us! We want to be transparent; our situation is unique. We plan to have another meeting Monday July 25, 2022 @ 6:45 PM at the Tuckahoe Library to seek your input.
Because of our unique situation, we still need to be an association for us to retain use of the property. So we are deciding to continue to move forward as the TVRA recreation association has for 50+ years. We are open to play volleyball and co****le as well as other games as we feel appropriate!
When you pay your reduced membership, it will help us rebuild and solidify the future of TVRA!
We plan to email and post to our Facebook account at least quarterly or if needed. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected].
We are requesting your help in the many committees and board positions available as we restructure. We also need contractors, lawyers, and copywriters, cleaners, fixers, lawn maintenance, and any other help you can provide. Interest may be submitted via email to [email protected]. Your support is vital to the pool's survival.
Bring your ideas on 7/25/22 @ 6:45 PM to the Tuckahoe Library (1901 Starling Drive, 23229)
