Every flower has a story, and so does the path that brought us here.

We're honored to share a recent interview featuring our founder and creative director, Nitika Achalam, where she reflects on the journey behind True Grit Farm & Flower, the lessons learned along the way, and the values that continue to shape our work. From regenerative growing practices to creating meaningful experiences through flowers, it's a glimpse into the heart of what we do and why we do it.

We're grateful to share this story and hope it offers a deeper look into the people, purpose, and passion rooted in True Grit.

Join us at 804 Day on August 1.

Richmond is more than a place—it's a community shaped by the people who care for it.

At True Grit Farm & Flower, we're honored to bring Give Them Their Flowers, an experience celebrating gratitude, connection, and the people who make this city bloom.

Through flowers and storytelling, we hope to create moments that remind us of the importance of recognizing one another. Because when people feel seen, appreciated, and connected, communities don't just grow—they flourish.

We'll see you there. ✨

Some flowers celebrate the beginning. Others honor a life beautifully lived. 🌿

This farewell wreath was thoughtfully created for a Celebration of Life service, designed to reflect the story of someone whose life was deeply rooted in family, hospitality, gardening, and the simple joy of gathering around a shared table.

Handwoven and harvested on our farm, every vine and bloom was cut, shaped, and woven by hand, making each wreath a one-of-a-kind tribute. Sunflowers, gladiolas, blackberry vines, edible botanicals, medicinal plants, and ornamental blooms were intentionally chosen to honor the life she lived and the things she loved most.

We believe sympathy flowers should tell a story—not simply mark a moment. Every farewell arrangement we create is thoughtfully designed to reflect the life, passions, and memories of the person being remembered, offering beauty, comfort, and care to those who gather in celebration and remembrance.

If you're looking for a deeply personal way to honor someone you love, we're here to create floral tributes that are as meaningful and unique as the lives they celebrate. 🤍

The spaces where we work deserve the same care as the people within them. 🌿

This seasonal arrangement was created for Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen in Richmond—a reminder that flowers do more than brighten a room. They create a warm welcome, soften everyday spaces, and leave a lasting impression on everyone who walks through the door.

Our Corporate Floral Memberships are thoughtfully designed for offices, reception areas, conference rooms, and client-facing spaces, bringing the beauty of the changing seasons into the workplace through recurring floral installations.

Whether you're welcoming clients, celebrating your team, or simply creating an environment that reflects your organization's values, we're here to help your space bloom.

We're so grateful for everyone who joined us and shared in the experience.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us for Flour + Flowers atSub Rosa Bakery this Father's Day weekend

One of our favorite parts of the morning wasn't just the flowers—it was the opportunity to connect with so many of you. Watching customers carefully select stems, build bouquets, share stories, and leave with armfuls of seasonal blooms was a beautiful reminder of why we do this work.

If you took photos with your flowers, we'd love to see them! Be sure to share them on social media and tag so we can celebrate and share them with our community.
