Weekend recap.

Friday was my first day back on the water in 6-8 months and we were pleasantly welcomed back to limits of halibut for a couple friends and myself.

Saturday i had some more friends I haven't fished with in a while out and we boated limits for 4. It was great to get back out on the water this weekend! Much needed.

Our little addition to our family keeps us busy as most parents know. My full time job at the refinery and running charters part time takes up most if not all of my time, and now that I'm a Dad it's even harder to find time for everything. Being a Dad is the best feeling in the world, hard to find better words to describe it. So this year I'll just be fishing with friends out on the water. I'm not stepping away, just dividing my time where it's needed the most.

We haven't been on the water but it's been for good reason, I put fishing on hold to support my wife in carrying our first child, and now he's here! The wait is over, and we are ready to introduce him to the world, we couldn't be happier, God is great and has blessed us with a beautiful baby boy!

With less than desirable tides for Halibut we opted to get these kids on some Epic shark fishing! They had a blast fighting roughly 30 sharks! Leopards, Seven gill and a couple nice hard fighting soupfins! Thank you Art, Josh, Parker and Justin

Fun times today, thanks Chris for the charter and bringing great company! Our clients were busy with all day action! They were rewarded with over 2 quality fish a rod up to 9 lbs.
