City Bike Park

Weekly status update: the park is still closed and we still don’t have a date for when it’ll be open again. The Parks Department and RP-L are beginning to work on options for removing the downed pole.

Well folks we still have no updates. I apologize that you’ve missed the best parts of Spring and Summer to enjoy the park. Unfortunately, all of the work to cleanup the park in preparation for the re-opening is also undone, so there’s probably a couple of volunteer work days needed to get the park cleaned up once the pole is cleared.

A huge thank you to everyone from Seton that volunteered today at the bike park! An amazing turnout!

Weekly park closure update: RP-L is planning to take care of the downed pole in the next two weeks. With that said, we have a group of Seton students scheduled to do volunteer work at the bike park today. We’ll post pictures later today from the event.

Weekly park closure update: No update. We’re still waiting for RP-L and the parks department to remove or repair the downed light post. I talked to the parks department’s maintenance manager yesterday and he will follow up with RP-L.

Unfortunately, I was the only person that attended the volunteer event today. I still got a lot accomplished but it took all day. For those of you that wonder why we don’t have races/events, this is why.
