1000 of anything is a lot, but when it comes to print media 1000 editions is an even bigger number. While most of us on Monday morning will be reflecting on the passing of another weekend, the start of a new work week, or another day closer to the end of sailing for the year; Hampton Yacht Club’s Lin McCarthy (along with her secret side kick – Murphy the Sailing Beagle) and her Southern Bay News You Can Use (SBRNYCU) will be celebrating her 1000th edition. If you are one of the lucky ones to receive her weekly epistle on all things sailing in the Southern Bay (and beyond), then please send her a note (email address: [email protected]) and tell her how much you enjoy it and appreciate her efforts. If you do not receive this edition, and you are in the Southern Chesapeake Bay, then you should enroll to receive it. If you are reading this and are not lucky enough to call the Southern Chesapeake Bay home, then in her honor, and on her behalf, send an email to your favorite sailing volunteer(s) and let them know you appreciate their efforts.

If you would like to enroll:

To SUBSCRIBE directly, send an email to [email protected] , put SBRNYCU on the subject line, give your name, and say, "Sign me up!" SBRNYCU is free.

Thanks;

Yesterday, Northern and Southern Bay handicappers met and spent their day reviewing appeals, rating new classes of boats and discussing fleet policies. A great group of volunteers!
Thank you!
