CANCELED due to do an unfavorable forecast. If you already signed up on BikeReg a refund will be issued.
The Annual NYD ride presented by Richmond Velo Sport will depart Center of the Universe brewery at 12pm sharp 1/1/2018.We had close to 300 riders LY. The brewery will open at 10:30am so we have access to restrooms. We will have motos for the entire ride and a police lead-out.
This is the same 60 mile route as last year and all turns will be well marked.
We will have food trucks and the brewery will be open when we return from the ride. COTU is releasing a small batch pilsner for the NYD ride. The beer will be called Two Wheel Pilsner.

Jay Cullen memorial jersey available for preorder at starlightapparel.com. All proceeds go to the Cullen family. Tech tee, bibs, and base layer available, too. We'll take orders through Sept. 10th with delivery early October.
Many of you in the cycling community have heard the devastating news about Jay Cullen.
As a cycling community, we always pull together for our brothers and sisters, and their families when comfort is needed. I'm asking all of you to please consider helping.
I reached out to Jay's neighborhood, they are collecting gift cards for restaurants and will present them to Jay's wife, and kids later this week. Rather than add another restaurant card, lets collect as much as possible this week, and I'll drop off a VISA gift card to their neighbor that is pooling all of the donations.
Nick Blend setup a VENMO account for the collections. At the end of this week, lets work with Saturday by noon, we'll drop off the card from our cycling community.
There are several other efforts underway at Pocahontas that you will hear about soon. Please feel free to cross post this on your team email lists, or other places where you know Jay was active.
