This historic milestone is an opportunity to reflect on our country’s history, honor the generations who helped shape it, and recognize the communities that continue carrying it forward.

Here in Madison County, we are grateful to be part of a community rooted in service, resilience, and care for one another.

Today, Madison County recognizes Juneteenth Freedom Day.

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and stands as a meaningful reminder of freedom, resilience, and progress.

We're proud to honor this important piece of American history alongside our community.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

In observance of Presidents’ Day, many county offices will be closed.

Battlefield Golf Course will remain open and operating during regular hours.
