Stonebridge Cross Country/Track

Just a reminder. We'll have a cross country interest meeting on Monday, June 4th immediately following school in the gym. Bring a friend (or 3)!

For those of you who weren't there on Saturday, here is a story on Hope's meet.

I've also posted a link to watch the race in the comments. I was only able to download it in 360p. If you have a chance, watch it, it was one of the best mile races you will ever see.

Congrats also to Trent who finished 6th in the 3200 and Rose who finished 17th in the 300 hurdles despite a fall.

Hope Frost Never Gave Up Hope, Wakes Up As State Champion! That isn\'t only because of her being pretty good at running but also because she never gave up in what became the most exciting race from the VISAA State Championships.

Reminder: Meeting after school Wednesday (tomorrow). Looking forward to seeing lots of people there!

Feel like winter will never end? ☃️☃️ Don't worry, track season will soon be here! 🌞🌞We'll be having a Track & Field Interest Meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 31st in the gym right after school from 3:35-4:05 PM. Hope to see everyone there!

I hope that all of you have had a restful and enjoyable Christmas break. Track season is right around the corner! I look forward to a lot of great moments for our team in 2018.

Hope finished the season ranked #9 in all of Hampton Roads!

T minus 1 week until practice officially begins. Next Monday 5:30 at the Seaboard coastal trail in Driver.

Just a reminder that we will have an informational meeting for cross country right after school on Wednesday, May 31st at 3:30 in the gym. This is for both parents and students.

So proud of these 3 girls for competing at the state meet yesterday and for the season they and the whole team had. Hope Frost was all state after finishing 3rd in the 1600, and also finished 4th in the 800. Brenna Kehoe was 17th in both the 400 and 200 after setting huge lifetime bests. Rose Stanphill placed 16th in the 300 hurdles after a great season.

We'll be holding our first official practice after school tomorrow at Stonebridge from 12:30-1:45. Then next week we'll be meeting Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. If you have conflicts or if someone is not able to make a particular practice, please just drop me an email or a text.

Looking forward to getting the season started!

Just a reminder that we'll have a conditioning practice after school tomorrow until 4:45. This is not mandatory, but will give the kids a chance to get a workout in and get acquainted. Hope to see you there!
