Cardinals Senior Tackle MCYFL

Parents!! I didn’t see too many Cardinals at the field during these conditioning days. You can still signup tomorrow Thursday August 2 at evaluations. Currently to be held at Reba Football field. Watch the page if bad weather as we will have it in a gym. I am not coaching, but I am still going to be on the field for all the games and would love to see the boys play. All the coaches have been vetted and should be a very competitive season in SR. Let’s get em signed up. Hope your summer has been great.

Parents, I know rumors have been flying around so I wanted to go ahead and make it official. I will not be coaching in the SR division this upcoming season. Braedan will be advancing to middle school as a 6th grader to try and learn the new program preparing for 7th. I encourage all that are age eligible to play in the youth league as it is a great program and am proud of being part of it for the last 8 years. You will no doubt see me around the field as I plan to continue with the league to keep it moving forward.

It has been a pleasure being a part of so many young men’s lives and hope to continue with a positive influence in the future. It has been fun watching all of them grow. I hope that what the coaches and I have done in the Cardinal program has established a deep love for the sport and a desire to improve daily not only in football, but in life. See all of you around.

If you are in need of shoes or headgear, we do have a handful of pairs you can borrow. Sizes are limited (Mostly sizes 5 & under. Also, If you do still have your MC singlet from last year or if you have any wrestling shoes that you would be willing to donate to the program, that would be awesome if you could bring them in.

Please be super mindful of the kindness of Kit Carson & Madison Central HS to allow us to use the gym space. We need to be sure we remove our street shoes and not eat in the wrestling room.

Last, I’m sure you will have questions. Please do not hesitate to ask. Our coaches are very approachable and want you to be as much a part of this as your wrestler is.

What a great season. Those boys worked thier tails off and earned that championship win. It's rare to be part of an undefeated team. They should be proud. Looking to plan our team banquet for this Thursday. I'll send details via text. WAY TO GO CARDINALS.
