Doulagivers of Central and Northern Virginia

Hello and welcome to Doulagivers of Central and Northern Virginia! My name is Marian Turk, and it is my earnest hope that I will be able to help you learn about elder care and how to care for those approaching end of life.

My work as a Jewish clergy is what brought me to Doulagivers. Some of the most fulfilling and poignant work I did in congregational life was helping those in the final phase of life and their families accept and cope with this transition. Being present with people in a time of stress and difficult transition, and supporting them as they cope with loss is some of the most meaningful work I can imagine doing.

Now that I am providing Doulagivers training and services, I look forward to working with people of all (or none!) religious backgrounds and walks of life to help our elders have the best possible endings.
