Cuong Nhu Richmond - Zanshin Dojo

Thirty-two members from seven clubs: Am Duong, Harmony, Hunterdon, Jue Tao, NoVa, Shojin, and Zanshin attended the Northeast Regional Test and Seminar this past Saturday. The event was hosted by Am Duong at the NASA Goddard Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.

Seven members were promoted:

Special Thanks to:
Alex Nguyen, Felix Noriega, and the Am Duong club for organizing the facility and great lunch arrangements; and

Angel Albanese, Rosario Fico, Lily Brooks, Shawn Lawson, Bill Diaz, Tom Panton, and Keith Ford for leading the various rank tests and seminars covering Self-Defense flow drills, Tambo combinations, and Wing Chun principles.

Calling any and all former Cuong Nhu students in Richmond to come to our first class on Tuesday at our new location: Humphrey Calder Community Center. Class is Tuesday, 10/1, from 6:30-7:45pm. Hope you can join us so we can kick off our new training space with a lot of positive energy.

The dojo is moving on October 1, 2024! After several years of training at Aikido in the Fan, we will now train at the Humphrey Calder Community Center (414 N Thompson St, Richmond, VA 23221). Classes remain Tuesday and Thursday and are now an hour earlier (6:30p-7:45p). One great benefit of being at the Community Center is CLASSES ARE FREE and open to anyone 13 years of age and older. We are very excited about the new opportunity and hope to see you training with us.
