Throwback Thursday 🤍 Meet the baker — back when this little business was Protein Sweets.
What started as protein cereal treats and a completely different version of the business eventually grew into Naughty & Nice Baking Co. — custom cookies, cakes, cupcakes, corporate orders, celebrations, repeat clients, referrals, and so much more.
Looking back at this photo makes me smile because the version of me standing there had no idea how much this business would grow, change, stretch me, and teach me.
And the truth is, the way we started and the way I’m building now are not the same — and I’m so grateful for that.
I’ve learned a lot about creativity, business, boundaries, capacity, family, and what it really means to keep showing up for something you care about while life keeps happening around it. And whew… life do be happenin’ 😮💨😂
There’s still so much I want to do with Naughty & Nice, but sometimes looking back is the best reminder that we’ve already come a long way. 🥹✨
So tonight I’m just grateful for the journey — the pretty parts, the messy parts, the pivots, the lessons, the growth, and every person who has trusted me to be part of their celebrations.
I thank God for putting this dream in my heart at 13, for every baker who has taught me along the way, and for the baking community I’ve been blessed to learn from — the ones I already know and the ones I haven’t met yet. I can’t wait to meet you. 🤍
And especially my family — my A1, my husband and my girls. They cheer me on, encourage me, and love me through every season… even the hard ones.
Because life really is about balance. 🤍✨
