While Power Yoga builds strength, stamina, focus, and resilience, Yin Yoga provides the complementary skills that every well-rounded teacher should understand: recovery, adaptability, nervous system regulation, and joint health.
Yin teaches us how to slow down, observe, and work with the deeper connective tissues of the body. Through longer-held postures, practitioners develop patience, mindfulness, and a greater understanding of how mobility and stability work together.
As teachers, understanding both the yang and yin aspects of practice allows us to better serve a wider range of students and create more sustainable movement practices.
Trainees will explore:
✨ The principles and philosophy of Yin Yoga
✨ Functional anatomy and individual variation
✨ Fascia, connective tissue, and joint health
✨ Nervous system regulation and mindfulness
✨ How Yin complements dynamic and strength-based practices
✨ Sequencing and teaching Yin classes
We are honored to welcome TJ Maher as our Yin Yoga module lead.

“The best teachers remain students forever.”
Great teaching comes from remaining curious, asking questions, staying open to new perspectives, and being willing to continue learning.
The moment we believe we’ve learned everything is often the moment we stop growing.
If you’re considering teacher training, deepening your personal practice, or already leading others, remember that the path of yoga is one of lifelong study. Every class, every student, and every experience has something to teach us.
Stay curious. Stay humble.

Why does Anatomy Matters in Yoga Teacher Training? 👇
You can memorize poses, cues, and sequences, but anatomy is what helps you understand why a pose works, how bodies differ, and how to teach safely and effectively.
In our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, anatomy is one of the most important foundations you'll build. Understanding how muscles, joints, fascia, and movement patterns work together allows you to move beyond memorized instruction and become a more confident, intelligent teacher.
We're honored to have .amy , E-RYT 500 and Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist, leading this module. With decades of teaching experience and over 1,000 hours of advanced training, Amy brings a rare ability to make anatomy practical, accessible, and immediately applicable to both teaching and personal practice.
Whether your goal is to teach yoga, deepen your understanding of the body, or refine your own practice, this training will change the way you see movement.
✨ Learn the body.
✨ Understand the poses.
✨ Teach with confidence.
Applications for our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training are now open.

Meditation doesn't require you to clear your mind.
You don't need to "be good at it." You simply need a willingness to pause.
The inner practices of yoga are just as important as the physical practice. While asana helps strengthen and open the body, meditation and breathwork cultivate awareness, focus, presence, and a deeper connection to ourselves.
Each Friday we offer meditation from 11 AM-12 PM in an open studio setting -- students are invited to come and go as their schedule allows during that hour while the teacher guides a combination of gentle movements, guided breath, and meditation techniques. Whether you're brand new to meditation or have an established practice, you're invited to join us.
This offering is donation-based, with all proceeds supporting our Humble Haven Scholarship Fund. Your contribution helps make yoga and wellness practices more accessible to members of our community who may not otherwise have the opportunity.
Come as you are. ✨ Friday s @ 11 AM. A few moments of stillness can change the course of your entire day.

Warrior Training: Pop-Up Classes & Workshops
This June, we're excited to welcome Alex Maxwell, visiting us from Berlin, for a special Warrior Training series.
Wondering whether the Pop-Up Classes or Workshops are right for you?
🔥 Pop-Up Classes are where you experience the practice.
These challenging, ultra-low-impact classes use long holds, focused effort, and intentional relaxation to build strength, stamina, body awareness, and mental resilience. You'll move through the Warrior Training method and experience its effects firsthand.
The Workshops (June 20 & 27) are where you deepen your understanding of the method.
Workshop 1 explores the foundational principles of Warrior Training, including breath, focus, mindful tension and relaxation, and posture mechanics. Workshop 2 builds on those foundations through asymmetrical holds, twists, inversions, and intermediate variations that challenge coordination, stability, endurance, and concentration in new ways.
The practice is accessible to students of all backgrounds and experience levels from dedicated athletes and yoga practitioners to those returning to movement after injury. Many students are drawn to its therapeutic qualities, using the method to develop greater body awareness, improve movement patterns, and build strength in a mindful, sustainable way.
Space is limited to 20 students per session. Learn more about these upcoming offerings in the HHY app or on our website today!
