🚨 IMPORTANT NFA CLARIFICATION 🚨
We are constantly researching the recent NFA injunction and working to make sure the information we provide—and every transfer we complete—keeps our customers compliant with current federal law.
We also want to correct information we previously shared and apologize for the confusion.
While the injunction provides relief from certain NFA requirements for covered individuals, SBR dealer transfers are different. A separate provision of the Gun Control Act, 18 U.S.C. § 922(b)(4), remains in effect and was not blocked by the injunction.
➡️ SBRs transferred by a dealer still require an approved Form 4 before they can be released to the customer.
As this situation continues to develop, we will keep researching, verifying guidance, and updating our customers when clarification becomes available. We would much rather correct information when necessary than risk putting one of our customers—or our business—out of compliance.
