There’s more to dance than steps. 🤍

There are the quiet moments that happen before the music begins…
the helping hands, the shared mirrors, the bobby pins, the careful bun, and the little rituals passed from one dancer to another.

A sacred part of being a dancer is learning that you don’t do it all alone.

You learn to care for one another.
To prepare one another.
To make each other feel ready to step into the studio, onto the stage, and into the moment.

These are the memories that stay with us long after the last curtain call.

As Martha Graham reminds us, there is something sacred about a dancer’s dressing room ritual — and we couldn’t agree more.
