We are still admiring the incredible results from our ladies’ art class featuring Kat McCall Studio!

Each guest learned the art of watercolor and created a beautiful oyster and pearl piece to proudly display in their homes, followed by a beautifully curated lunch from our very own Chef Russell.

Wonderful job, ladies! We look forward to welcoming Kat McCall Studio back to Almost Heaven again soon.

Our very first Table & Traditions was one for the books!

Last week, guests gathered for a special cooking demonstration with our very own Chef Russell, learning the preparation of crab claw gazpacho, trying quail and pheasant (some for the first time), and enjoying a creative dessert featuring sweet corn crème brûlée.

And perhaps the sweetest surprise of all? One of Chef Russell’s original culinary arts teachers was in attendance—this time, taking a seat as the student in his class.

What a wonderful evening filled with good food, great company, and a little bit of tradition. We’re so excited for this to be the first of many Table & Traditions events at Almost Heaven Plantation!
