It’s a big, wonderful, long awaited day. Loki has been cleared for 20 mins of walking a day… under saddle!! In two weeks our surgeon from Tufts will come back out and and see her move and hopefully clear her for trotting and turn out at that time. It’s been a long long time since I’ve sat behind these ears. Sept 15th will be 6 months since the injury.

I have a lot of mares. I consider myself a mare person. You have to work a little harder for the devotion and respect but mares are smart and intuitive.

But you know the saying "the grass is always greener on the other side"?

For the longest time, I just wanted a big goofy bay gelding. And Reverie is just that. The horse I prayed for. 🙏🏼💙
