13-year-old, 15hh grade gelding

If life would let me keep them all, I’d love nothing more than to keep Tracker. This is a tough one to sell. Tracker is coming out of our personal pasture, and it’s going to be hard to let him go. Because of that, I will be picky about where he goes.

Tracker has been our go-to trail horse for friends and family who may not know much about horses. He has taken care of MANY people over the years. He has carried everyone from complete beginner adults and kids to advanced riders, and he truly knows his job.

Put a beginner on him who simply sits up, and Tracker will quietly pack them along the trail all day without a care in the world. But don’t let that fool you—Tracker is also a horse an experienced rider can have a lot of fun with! He will side pass, neck rein, back up, and even ride bridleless.

Tracker is truly a “jack of all trades” kind of horse. He will go as fast or as slow as you ask, and when you’re ready to be done, he’s perfectly happy to drop his head, take the slack reins, and just relax.

He is the kind of horse you can put your friends, family, kids, or less-experienced riders on and feel good about them being taken care of.

I truly hate to see this horse go, but sometimes life just doesn’t go as planned. Whoever ends up with Tracker is going to be extremely lucky.

If you’re looking for a big, gentle trail partner, take a look at Hugo! Standing 16.2 hands, Hugo isn’t just tall—he’s wide too! Don’t let his size intimidate you; this big boy is truly a gentle giant with a heart of gold.

Hugo is a big puppy dog who absolutely loves attention. He will w/t/c, although he is more of a push ride, and his preferred pace is slow and steady. He has a soft mouth and can be ridden comfortably in nothing more than a snaffle.

Hugo has been trail ridden almost everywhere with us and is the kind of horse you can relax and enjoy the ride on. He crosses creeks, ditches, and whatever else you point him toward. If I’m looking for a quiet, relaxing trail ride, Hugo is my first pick!

He is also incredibly easy to handle. When bridling or haltering, Hugo will drop his head and let you put it right on him. He stands quietly to be mounted and is a pleasure to work around.

Not only does Hugo ride, but he drives too!
Hugo has been driven both single and double and has even been out in parades! Whether you’re looking for a big, quiet trail horse or a versatile driving partner, Hugo has plenty of experience to offer. His laid-back, steady attitude makes him a fun one to have around!

One look into his kind eye and you’ll see just what a sweet soul this big guy is. In the pasture, he’s low on the totem pole and is super easy to catch. And if you have a treat? Forget it—Hugo absolutely cannot resist!

Looking for a true jack-of-all-trades? Meet Grant—a versatile, trustworthy gelding that can do just about anything you ask of him. He has been an absolute favorite around our place, and this is one that will truly be hard to let go.

Grant has been my go-to trail horse, even carrying my baby girl with me on rides. I have never once felt unsafe on his back. He’s the definition of bombproof and takes everything in stride. He has dragged barrels and logs, crossed unstable rocking bridges, and handled every obstacle we’ve pointed him at with confidence.

He’s just as handy around the farm as he is on the trail. We’ve used him to check cattle and fences, open and close gates, and even feed cows from his back. When the cattle got excited, running and bucking around him, Grant never flinched. His calm, steady demeanor makes him a horse you can count on in any situation.

Under saddle, Grant is a pleasure to ride. He neck reins one-handed, picks up both leads with ease, has a great stop, and will lope off smoothly from a standstill. Whether you’re looking for a dependable trail partner, a fun ranch horse, or an all-around family horse, Grant is ready to fit the job.
