We get this question every year around this time.

The key is understanding stimulus, recovery, and adaptation.

Coaches who understand those three things can build a training program that works synergistically with what an athlete is already doing at school, rather than competing with it.

We’ve done this for years, and we’ve had a lot of success helping athletes continue to develop by filling the different buckets of performance without unnecessarily adding more fatigue.

It’s never about simply doing more.

It’s about doing what the athlete needs, when they need it.
