Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training is coming to Rio Hot Yoga!!

Our owners, Josiah and Melissa are passionate about Vinyasa Yoga; it sets their souls on fire ❤️‍🔥 They have over 25 years of combined practice and lead as students of Yoga first and foremost. They strive to create training opportunities that are affordable, accessible, and offered at a pace and structure that promotes deep understanding.

This 200 Hour Vinyasa Teacher Training will take place at Rio Hot Yoga in three phases from November 3rd to March 27th.

🧱 Phase 1 will take place From November 3rd to December 4th. During this phase trainees will be held accountable in consistent practice and independent study to establish a foundation for deeper learning.

⛰️ Phase 2 will take place from December 5th to February 6th and will consist of eight Saturday in-person group training sessions, as well as accountability in class attendance and study. This journey will support trainees in building an intimate understanding of Yoga Asana (postures), anatomy, breath, intelligent sequencing, Yogic philosophy and the styling of Vinyasa Yoga.

☀️ Phase 3 will take place from February 20th to personal completion, anticipated finish being by March 27th. The final phase of training, practicum, is where trainees will have opportunities to apply their knowledge and receive individualized feedback and instruction. Trainees will be held accountable for completing required classes, scheduling individual training sessions, study & personal development assignments, practice classes, observations and supported in applying their knowledge training towards their individual paths forward.

Yesterday, Josiah and Melissa said goodbye to Eevee

Our hearts are broken but we can’t help but acknowledge how grateful we are to all of you, and the Rio Vista community for embracing our special girl.

Eevee’s time at Rio Hot Yoga helped her overcome social anxiety. The patient love you gave her helped her feel safe to trust community again. E was so thrilled to move to Rio Vista. She loved walking around town and visiting all of her friends. The joy and courage that being here gave her, allowed for more travel this year. She finally got to see the Northern coast and was able to camp with the family when Josiah proposed. Thank you all for being part of making the final stretch for her so wonderful. She felt your love and kindness, and it helped her heal.

Eevee’s gentle presence at the studio will be missed so very much
