Optimist jr Championship
Congratulations to SoCal's Siham Abraham on a T1 finish and recipient of the IGA $1000 Sponsorship. The IGA has patronized the Optimist local qualifier for almost 2 decades. It's given beginners a chance to experience country club play, and seasoned players a platform to play the national Championship in Florida. Some of our kids have lifetime memories as they played this event since 9 or 10 years old. The IGA is preparing to start an in house jr tour all events will render never seen before sponsorships. 🏌‍♀️🏌‍♂️🏌⛳️

The Amazing SoCal jr Golf Team.
IGA College Prep, along with Outreach, combined to create a support program like no other. A program that should be duplicated, and implemented throughout the country. The Question was, what can be done to further advance elite jr Golfers needing to climb the Leader Board without the means to play expensive Toyota, AJGA, along with invitational tournaments. Underrated, Mack Champ, Notah Begay, Jim Thorpe, and more. The answer, the SoCal jr Golf Team of advocates. The Team was started by Greg Prator, IGA Founder and Director along with Jenny Bethune of the Los Angeles Tee Diva's Tee Dudes Golf Club. What makes us unique is our Partnerships, working together for one purpose. SoCal jr Golf Team raises funds through donations, fundraisers, grants, along with membership. Funds are then allocated, covering entry fees, travel fees, lodging, food and beverage, equipment and more. Special thanks to the Grass Roots Organization, Make Golf Your Thing. Because of these stated partnerships alone, dozens of our own youth have benefitted in amazing ways. We can now honestly say generations are benefiting and a community economic impact is now as we speak occurring.
