Every year in Riverside between January and March, oranges are found in abundance and ripe for the picking along the streets of Victoria and just about anywhere an orange tree can be found. A farm we frequent every year to offer a helping hand (and to also get a good workout in) is the Astfalk farm. In total, we filled two large boxes, totaling 1466 lbs of oranges to be brought to Overflow Farms!
Overflow Farms is a non-profit organization here in Riverside dedicated to growing wholesome foods for the community, local food banks, pantries, and churches who help those in need
The winner of our orange picking competition was Mike and Mary Disbrow! Mike and Mary picked a total of 300 lbs of oranges together! Wow! Good job everybody and great time working together!

A message from our Most Inspirational Athlete, Todor Anguelov:
“I’ve very recently been given the option, and have decided that every day is gonna be a great day. That leaves the door open for an awesome day. Apparently, what you decide will be true, will actually become true. Please do the same, and decide that today will be a great day!”
