What is Red Tent?
Red Tent is a safe space for you to be vulnerable, share, and connect with others. You will learn more about yourself and leave with tools to use in your own life.
May’s Theme: Messages From Your Body
In this month’s Tent, you’ll be guided through a body scan meditation revisiting positive memories stored in the body. We will also craft letters from our bodys to ourselves. What does your body want you to know? What has it been trying to tell you?
There will be journaling, soul care time, and space for sharing. I always leave Tent with nuggets of wisdom. I feel more centered, connected and grounded within myself. I feel less alone by hearing others share the same struggles, blockages, or fears. Red Tent is so affirming.
What to Bring?
Come in clothes that make you feel comfortable or magical. You do not have to wear red. Bring a journal & pen, water or thermos for hot tea, and a cozy blanket or sweater as we’ll be on yoga blankets/bolsters on the floor for the majority of the 2 hour session.
Sat May 17th 1-3pm. $20. If cost is an issue, message me and we can work out an alternative. Please do not let cost hold you back from attending. I would love to have you!

In this month’s tent, you’ll be guided through a future-you meditation as well as a ‘meet your guiding council’ activity. There will be journaling, soul care time, and space for sharing.
Our Tents are open to all genders, ages 16+. Come in clothes that make you feel comfortable or magical. You do not have to wear red. Bring a journal & pen, water or thermos for hot tea, and a cozy blanket or sweater as we’ll be on yoga blankets and bolsters on the floor for most of the 2 hour session. Hot tea and light snacks will be provided.

❣️History of Red Tent:
The term Red Tent was introduced to westerners through Anita Diamant’s 1997 novel of the same name. While her version of the red tent is fictional, menstrual tents and huts were common in pre-modern cultures around the world.
The concept of a red tent draws inspiration from ancient cultures where menstruating women would gather in a separate space, often called a “red tent” or “moon lodge,” to rest and connect, and pass down wisdom, support, and encouragement between generations.
Modern Red Tents typically meet monthly and involve a ritual “container” with specific activities and discussions that vary each month. While some Tents may focus on menstrual cycles, our themes will be different each time.
While historical Red Tents are for women only, mine are open to all genders, ages 16+. You do not have to wear red. Come in clothes that make you feel comfortable or magical. Bring a journal & pen, water or thermos for hot tea, and a cozy blanket or sweater as we’ll be on yoga blankets and bolsters on the floor for the majority of the 1.5 hours. Hot tea and light snacks will be provided.
❣️My background:
I was taught and co-led tents for the past 2 years with my amazing friend and Rent Tent author Aj Smit . Her book “Red Thread: Weaving an Embodied Life of Joy” will be our guide, which I’ll use to lead us through monthly themes such as Creativity, Anger, Sanctuary, Cycles, Vulnerability and more.

Guys, I’m so excited to announce I’m back to teaching in person group yoga classes 😁 After taking a year of leave to move from South Korea to southern California, have my second baby, recover physically, and gain enough new footing sleep and routine-wise, I felt called to resume teaching. I love it so much.
I’m so excited to see familiar student’s faces weekly, and to challenge my brain with something non mom-related. Creating sequences is so fun and I love to tailor it to my students requests and bodies.
I feel so honored to be a part of the Rouse Yoga family 🕉️💙 There’s something so special to the feeling of practicing in a dedicated yoga space rather than a big box gym. Rouse Yoga and I finding each other was truly meant to be.

Join us Thursdays @ 9:30am, Saturdays @ 10:15am, and BONUS on Wed Mar 27th @ 4:30pm. Final weeks of Nova Yoga with Katie before I PCS in April. All classes are free. Osan Fitness Center- small stretching room.Recommend bringing your own yoga mat and blocks if you have them. Only short gym mats provided. All experience levels welcome.

Bring your littles out to Core Restore Pilates tomorrow 3/14 @ 9:30-10:00am. It'll be a butt and core burning class 🔥. Sat 3/16 we'll have fun with balance & twisting poses in Morning Yoga Flow @ 10:15-11:15am. Great stretch after 9:00am spin class! Both classes are in the small stretching room down the hall towards the weight lifting room. Free. All experience levels welcome.

Come soak in the final Nova Yoga classes! Core Restore Pilates happens every Thursdays morning in March. NO Morning Yoga Flow this SAT 9 MAR. So only 3 more Saturday Yoga Classes.
Children welcome to the Pilates class. All experience levels welcome to both classes. Short gym mats and some yoga blocks provided. Recommend bringing your own yoga mat and blocks if you have them.
