With a very heavy heart, we announce the passing of our loving and close friend Amy Litteral. she was killed in car accident yesterday 5/22 on Wi******er Rd. by an alleged drunk-driver. We share the pain and sadness with her family and friends during these difficult times after losing someone that we appreciated so much. RIP Amy Litteral. You will be highly missed 😔😢.

Riverside Adult Soccer would like to recognize Roberto Moreno Ramirez as Best of the Best for the Month of December.
Roberto was born in Guzmán a city in the Mexican state of Jalisco on April 8th, 1956. On November 14, 2019 Roberto passed away. Leaving everyone that had the chance to meet him heartbroken. He leaves behind his partner of 30 years, Iliana Gonzalez and his 3 children, Martin, Julie, and Cielo Moreno. Roberto had been playing with our league since May 2018. At 63 years old Roberto was not only able to compete in the Men’s 40 division with his team Corona Wolves, but also in our men’s open division where he used to play with Napoli. He was a great role model to all those younger players; we could see he was looked up to and respected. Robert was always willing to jump in and help teams that needed players, he was always wanting to help others. Roberto was one of the best defensive players. Robert Moreno was a wonderful person and soccer player. He was always smiling, always with a positive attitude; you could tell that soccer was one of his greatest passions. His favorite soccer team was C.D. Guadalajara.
This month we celebrate you Roberto Moreno, we celebrate your life and the great human being you were. You touched many lives. Roberto was loved and appreciated by so many people, a lot of which came together for his funeral to pay their respect and say their last goodbyes. You will be greatly missed. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his Family and everyone that had a chance to meet Roberto and call him a friend. Rest in peace Roberto Moreno Ramirez.

Roberto nació en Guzmán, una ciudad del estado mexicano de Jalisco, el 8 de Abril de 1956. El 14 de Noviembre de 2019 falleció Roberto tras ser diagnosticado con cancer. Deja atrás a su pareja de 30 años, Iliana González y sus 3 hijos, Martin, Julie y Cielo Moreno. Deja tambien a todos los que tuvieron la oportunidad de conocerlo desconsolado. Roberto había estado jugando con nuestra liga desde mayo de 2018. A los 63 años Roberto no sólo fue capaz de competir en la división masculina de 40 años con su equipo Corona Wolves, sino también en nuestra división abierta masculina donde solía jugar con el Napoli. Fue un gran modelo a seguir para todos aquellos jugadores más jóvenes; podíamos ver que era admirado y respetado. Robert siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar a los equipos que necesitaban jugadores, siempre estaba queriendo ayudar a los demás. Roberto fue uno de los mejores jugadores defensivos. Robert Moreno era una persona maravillosa y un gran jugador de fútbol. Siempre sonreía, siempre con una actitud positiva; se podía decir que el fútbol era una de sus mayores pasiones. Su equipo de fútbol favorito era el C.D. Guadalajara.
Roberto era amado y apreciado por tanta gente, muchos de los cuales se unieron para su funeral para presentar su respeto y decir sus últimos adiós. Te echarán mucho de menos. Este mes te celebramos Roberto Moreno, celebramos tu vida y el gran ser humano que eras. Has tocado muchas vidas. Nuestras más sentidas condolencias van a su familia y a todos los que tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer a Roberto y llamarlo “Amigo”. Descansa en paz Roberto Moreno Ramírez.
