Ballet Folklórico Sol De México has been in existence for over 18 years and currently has over 40 dancers. The intent of BF Sol de México is to promote the Mexican culture by presenting dance productions that represent the diverse regions of México. BF Sol de México has been invited to perform with various singers such as Beatriz Adriana, Vicky Carr, José Luis Rodríguez “El Puma” and have performed at the Mariachi Holiday Festival at the Honda Center, El Rey Theatre, L.A. County Fair, National Date Festival, Disneyland, and more. Ballet Folklórico Sol de México believes in the preservation of the Mexican culture. It addresses this through the practice and presentation of the beautiful art of Mexican folk dancing. With their colorful costumes and songs from all the regions of México, the members of Sol de México express their pride in the culture and heritage of their people.
