Event 79 (2026.05.23)
The recap was late last week, early this week, but you know it'll always be there, just like parkrun.
Welcome to Nate, Tatum, Natalia, and Peyton, who joined us for their first parkruns today, happy 10th to Gary and Zara, and happy 25th to Bo!
Next week's the last parkrun of the month, which means we'll have treats, and see if Gary and Bo can complete the rare full 5-parkrun month. Hope to see you there -- same place, same time!

Little late on the report from last weekend, but happy first parkrun to Leo, Moses, and Randea, and big big thanks to Andrew and Jamie for volunteering at parkrun for the 10th and 30th times!
Consider this your handy reminder that parkrun is tomorrow (same time, same place!) and happy Memorial Day weekend!!

Event 77 (2026.05.07)
Another foggy day yesterday, but we won't complain about the heat staying away one week longer, especially when we had cake! Welcome back to Helma, Garja, and Marcos, back for parkrun #2 and with PBs to boot. Douglas and Gary also PB'd, and Juan Carlos came within a second of his PB for the 2nd time in 4 weeks (next time!).
Happy 40th parkrun finish to Alex G, and... big milestone watch! Several people came within 1 or 2 parkruns of a milestone yesterday, so we'll look forward to celebrating those over the next few weeks :)
Thanks as always to the volunteers who make parkrun possible, with a special shoutout to Rosa for making her finish tokens debut! If you want to be as cool as Rosa (figuratively and literally, it's cooler in the shade), let us know -- being a parkrun volunteer is super simple and super fun! We'll see you next week, same place, same time!

Event 76 (2026.05.02)
It May have been a little gloomy yesterday, but it's always a good time at parkrun! This week's most impressive finish award goes to Gerardo, who ran his last 400m carrying his brother Mauricio on his back. Super impressive (check the photos!) -- if we had bonus points to give, we'd have given them.
Happy first parkrun to Rutdalia, Herlinda, Suzette, and Marlana, and welcome back (and happy PB!) to Sam and Maribel. Sylvia also earned a PB (in her 4th parkrun finish), and Juan Carlos, Emma, and Camila all marked their 15th parkrun finishes.
And also, a very special happy 38th RyBo parkrun finish to Liz. Liz has been a regular almost since the beginning, but as a parkrun veteran, it wasn't until yesterday that she surpassed her finish total from her old parkrun home, Wycombe Rye. This time with feeling: welcome home!
Finally, thanks as always to our volunteer crew, and a reminder that helping out at parkrun is super easy and super fun! We're looking for Tail Walkers in particular for the next few weeks, so if you want be the coolest, lastest finisher in a future week, please let us know!
With that, see you next week, same time, same place!

Event 75 (2026.04.25)
First things first, two lost and found notices: if you left a white cherry-print cardigan at parkrun yesterday, or a black UA windbreaker a few weeks ago, we have them!
Next up, a great warm welcome to everyone who joined us at parkrun for the first time yesterday: (-takes deep breath-) Logan, Gavin, Fiona, Baylee, Sam, Asahel, Ligia, Cameron, Amanda, Orlando, Jackie, Shelby, Marcos, Garja, Maribel, Towanda, Crystal, Helma, and Enzo! Hope you all had a great time and join us again soon!
When you do, you'll be just like Ernesto, Amy, and Carla, all of whom came back yesterday for round 2 (and PB'd to boot!). Congrats also to Gerardo, Gary, Lisamarie, and Richard for their new PBs yesterday.
As always, thanks to the awesome volunteers who make it possible to have parkrun every single week! We've been really happy to see parkrun continue to grow lately... but that also means we're looking for some extra hands to help us hold down the fort! If you're looking to hang out or try something new, please send us a message -- we'd always love to have some new volunteers :)
And with that, you know the drill -- see you next week, same time, same place.
